About the stone

Tibetan singing bowls are the tool people reach for when they want to slow a room down. This 4 inch bowl is small enough to sit in the palm, with Sanskrit shlokas etched into the metal. The long, steady hum is believed to settle a busy mind and support meditation, chanting, sound healing and space cleansing. Struck slowly or circled with the mallet, it holds a long, calming note.

Sanskrit shlokas are etched by hand around the bowl, so the ancient verses catch the light differently as you turn it. The seven-metal alloy is worked and sounded by hand, and no two bowls hum in quite the same way.

Chosen & charged

Real metal, by hand.

No filler, no fakes. Every bowl is hand-hammered and tuned by ear, cleansed and charged by singing bowl, and packed by hand before it reaches you.

Before you buy

Questions, answered

Is this a real hand-made singing bowl?

Yes. It is hand-finished from a seven-metal alloy in the Himalayan tradition, then sounded and checked by ear before it is cleansed and packed by hand. The Sanskrit shlokas are etched into the metal, so each bowl carries its own marks and its own hum. It is not a cast or machine-pressed bowl.

What size is it, and who is it for?

It is approximately 4 inch in diameter and 2.5 inch tall, a small, comfortable size that sits in the palm for personal meditation, chanting, yoga and small rooms. Each bowl varies slightly. For a deeper, fuller tone, look at the 5 inch and 7 inch bowls.

What is the shloka design, and what is a singing bowl good for?

Sanskrit shlokas, short sacred verses, are etched around the bowl, a nod to chanting and mantra practice. Singing bowls are used for meditation, japa and chanting, sound baths, space cleansing and marking the start or close of a practice. The long, steady hum is believed to help settle a busy mind and hold a calm, focused space. It makes a beautiful still object on a shelf between uses.

How do I play and care for it?

Strike the rim gently, or circle the wooden mallet slowly around the outside rim to build the hum. Wipe with a soft, dry cloth and keep it dry. Rest it on a soft surface or cushion so the rim stays true.

Do you offer COD, and how fast is shipping?
